274.100. In its bylaws each association shall provide forone or more regular meetings annually. The board of directorsshall have the right to call a special meeting at any time; andten percent of the members may file a petition stating thespecific business to be brought before the association and demanda special meeting at any time. Such meetings must thereupon becalled by the directors. Notice of all meetings, together with astatement of the purposes thereof, shall be mailed to each memberat least ten days prior to the meeting; provided, however, thatthe bylaws may require instead that such notice may be given bypublication in a newspaper of general circulation, published atthe principal place of business of the association.
