Purpose and construction of law.

276.403. Sections 276.401 to 276.581 constitute an exerciseof state police and regulatory power for the purpose ofprotecting and enhancing grain production and marketing, and theagricultural economy of the state of Missouri. These sectionsare deemed necessary to protect and to preserve the publichealth, welfare, peace and safety of the general citizenry.
