Division may participate in federal comprehensive manpowerprograms.

288.345. The division of employment security is authorizedto participate in federal comprehensive manpower programsauthorized by the United States Department of Labor and to payallowances provided by such programs in the manner provided forpayment of benefits in section 288.290.4, to execute on behalf ofthis state agreements or contracts with the appropriate federalagencies containing such provisions as may be necessary ordesirable to enable this state to participate in such programs,to expend all funds made available for the purpose of suchprograms by this state or local subdivisions thereof or by thefederal government, to supervise the expenditure of such fundsand the conduct of such programs by other public and privateagencies in this state, and to make such reports andcertifications as are called for, and otherwise to cooperate withthe federal government and its departments and agencies in theadministration of such programs.
