290.525. Any employer who hinders the director in the performance of hisduties in the enforcement of sections 290.500 to 290.530 by any of thefollowing acts is guilty of a class C misdemeanor:
(1) Refusing to admit the director to any place of employment;
(2) Failing to make, keep and preserve any records as required under theprovisions of sections 290.500 to 290.530;
(3) Falsifying any record required under the provisions of sections290.500 to 290.530;
(4) Refusing to make any record required under the provisions ofsections 290.500 to 290.530 accessible to the director;
(5) Refusing to furnish a sworn statement of any record required underthe provisions of sections 290.500 to 290.530 or any other informationrequired for the proper enforcement of sections 290.500 to 290.530 to thedirector upon demand;
(6) Failing to post a summary of sections 290.500 to 290.530 or a copyof any applicable regulation as required;
(7) Discharging or in any other manner discriminating against anyemployee who has notified the director that he has not been paid wages inaccordance with the provisions of sections 290.500 to 290.530, or who hascaused to be instituted any proceeding under or related to sections 290.500 to290.530, or who has testified or is about to testify in any such proceeding;
(8) Paying or agreeing to pay wages at a rate less than the rateapplicable under sections 290.500 to 290.530. Payment at such rate for anyweek or portion of a week constitutes a separate offense as to each employee;
(9) Otherwise violating any provisions of sections 290.500 to 290.530.
Each day of violation constitutes a separate offense.
