Violation--penalty.

292.530. Any owner, contractor, subcontractor, foreman orother person, having charge of the erection, construction,repairing, alteration, removal, or painting of any building,bridge, viaduct or other structure within the provisions ofsections 292.450 to 292.540, shall comply with all the termsthereof and any such owner, contractor, subcontractor, foreman orother person violating any of the provisions of sections 292.450to 292.540 shall upon conviction thereof be fined not less thantwenty-five dollars or more than five hundred dollars orimprisoned for not less than three months or more than sixmonths, or both fined and imprisoned in the discretion of thecourt.
