Chemical emergency preparedness fund established--reversion togeneral revenue, prohibited.

292.607. 1. The "Chemical Emergency Preparedness Fund" ishereby established. Funds appropriated under section 292.604,private donations, federal grants, contracts, and other fundsprovided to the commission and the department for distribution asprovided in section 292.604 shall be placed in the chemicalemergency preparedness fund. Notwithstanding the provisions ofsection 33.080, RSMo, to the contrary, funds in the chemicalemergency preparedness fund shall not revert to the generalrevenue fund. Interest accruing to the fund shall be part of thefund.

2. The chemical emergency preparedness fund shall, uponappropriation, be used to implement the provisions of sections292.600 to 292.625.
