Authority to sign one-way streets and alleys.

300.240. Whenever any ordinance of the city designates anyone-way street or alley the city traffic engineer shall place andmaintain signs giving notice thereof, and no such regulationshall be effective unless such signs are in place. Signsindicating the direction of lawful traffic movement shall beplaced at every intersection where movement of traffic in theopposite direction is prohibited.
