Pedestrians walking along roadways.

300.405. 1. Where sidewalks are provided it shall beunlawful for any pedestrian to walk along and upon an adjacentroadway.

2. Where sidewalks are not provided any pedestrian walkingalong and upon a highway shall when practicable walk only on theleft side of the roadway or its shoulder facing traffic which mayapproach from the opposite direction.
