License plate prima facie evidence fees paid.

301.160. Upon approval of the application for registrationof a motor vehicle or trailer and when the required fee has beenpaid to the department of revenue, the department shall forwardor deliver to the applicant the registration receipt and thenumber of license plates prescribed for the vehicle or trailer bysection 301.130, or renewal tabs if appropriate. The attachmentto the motor vehicle or trailer specified in the application ofcurrent license plates shall be prima facie evidence that thefees have been paid for such license.
