Stolen license plate tabs, replacement at no cost, when, procedure,limitation.

301.301. 1. Any person replacing a stolen license plate tab issuedon or after January 1, 2009, may receive at no cost up to two sets of twolicense plate tabs per year when the application for the replacement tab isaccompanied with a police report that is corresponding with the stolenlicense plate tab.

2. Any person replacing a stolen license plate tab issued prior toJanuary 1, 2009, may receive at no cost up to two sets of two license platetabs per year when the application for the replacement tab is accompaniedwith a notarized affidavit verifying that such license plate tab or tabswere stolen.
