License by municipality not required.

302.041. Any person licensed to operate a vehicle mayexercise the privilege thereby granted upon all highways in thisstate and shall not be required by any municipality or otherpolitical subdivision having authority to adopt local policeregulations to obtain any other license in order to exercise suchprivilege, except that this section shall not be construed asdepriving municipalities of the right to license, tax andregulate taxicab drivers.
