302.225. 1. Every court having jurisdiction over offenses committedunder sections 302.010 to 302.780, or any other law of this state, orcounty or municipal ordinance, regulating the operation of vehicles onhighways or any other offense in which the commission of such offenseinvolves the use of a motor vehicle, including felony convictions, shall,within seven days thereafter, forward to the department of revenue, in amanner approved by the director of the department of public safety a recordof any plea or finding of guilty of any person in the court for a violationof sections 302.010 to 302.780 or for any moving traffic violation underthe laws of this state or county or municipal ordinances. The recordrelated to offenses involving alcohol, controlled substances, or drugsshall be entered in the Missouri uniform law enforcement system records.The director of revenue shall enter the conviction information into theappropriate computer systems and transmit the conviction information asrequired in 49 CFR Part 384, or as amended by the Secretary of the UnitedStates Department of Transportation. The record of all convictionsinvolving the assessment of points as provided in section 302.302 andconvictions involving a commercial motor vehicle as defined in section302.700 furnished by a court to the department of revenue shall beforwarded by the department of revenue within fifteen days of receipt tothe Missouri state highway patrol. The record related to offensesinvolving alcohol, controlled substances, or drugs, or in which theMissouri state highway patrol was the arresting agency shall be enteredinto the Missouri uniform law enforcement system records.

2. Whenever any person is convicted of any offense or series ofoffenses for which sections 302.010 to 302.340 makes mandatory thesuspension or revocation of the license of such person by the director ofrevenue, the circuit court in which such conviction is had shall requirethe surrender to it of all licenses, then held by the person so convicted,and the court shall within seven days thereafter forward the same, togetherwith a record of the conviction, to the director of revenue.

3. No municipal judge or municipal official shall have power torevoke any license.
