306.456. A certificate of title for an outboard motor orvessel issued in the name of only one person, on application ofthat person and payment of the fee required for an originalcertificate of title, may be surrendered to and a new certificateissued by the director of revenue in the name of that person andone or more other persons; and the current valid certificate ofnumber shall be so transferred into the names of the owners shownon the new certificate.
