Penalty for violation.

306.575. Any person, firm, partner, organization,association or corporation, or any agent or officer thereof,required by sections 306.530 to 306.575 to register an outboardmotor and to pay the registration fee, who fails to do so in thetime and manner prescribed, and any person who shall remove orobliterate the factory number or the serial number from anyregistered outboard motor or cause the same to be done withoutthe written consent of the director of revenue, shall uponconviction be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and be punished asprovided by law.
