Headlamp on motor vehicles--violations, penalty.

307.045. 1. Except as in this chapter provided, every motor vehicleother than a motor-drawn vehicle and other than a motorcycle shall beequipped with at least two approved headlamps mounted at the same levelwith at least one on each side of the front of the vehicle. Everymotorcycle shall be equipped with at least one and not more than twoapproved headlamps. Every motorcycle equipped with a sidecar or otherattachment shall be equipped with a lamp on the outside limit of suchattachment capable of displaying a white light to the front.

2. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 307.120, violation ofthis section shall be deemed an infraction.
