320.080. Any architect, superintendent or other person orpersons or body corporate, who may have charge of the erection,or may have the control or custody of any of the said buildingsor places of resort mentioned in section 320.070 who shall refuseor fail to comply with the provisions of said section within sixmonths from the passage of this law, in case of said buildings orplaces aforesaid which have been heretofore erected, and beforethe completion or occupation for said purposes of any of saidbuildings or places now in process of erection, shall, on proofof such refusal or failure before any court of competentjurisdiction, be adjudged to be guilty of a misdemeanor, and bepunished by a fine of not less than one hundred nor more than onethousand dollars, which said fine shall be collected as is nowprovided by law for the collection of fines in such cases, andwhen collected shall be paid into and become a part of the publicschool fund of the county, city or incorporated town in whichsaid misdemeanor was committed.
