Powers of cities and certain counties to regulate or prohibitfireworks.

320.121. 1. The provisions of sections 320.106 to 320.161 shall notbe construed to abrogate or in any way affect the powers of the followingpolitical subdivisions to regulate or prohibit fireworks within itscorporate limits:

(1) Any city, town, or village in this state; or

(2) Any county operating under a charter form of government.

2. It is unlawful for any manufacturer, distributor, wholesaler,jobber or seasonal retailer to sell or ship by common carrier fireworks toconsumers within the corporate limits of the following politicalsubdivisions which prohibit the sale or possession of fireworks:

(1) Any city, town, or village in this state; or

(2) Any county operating under a charter form of government.
