Minimum general safety standards for motor vehicle fuelsystems--registration required.

323.210. 1. The director of the department of agricultureshall make, promulgate and enforce regulations setting forthminimum general safety standards covering the design,construction, location, installation and operation of compressednatural gas (CNG) motor vehicle fuel systems and dispensingstations. The director shall also make, promulgate and enforceregulations setting forth registration, training and examinationrequirements for persons applying for or holding registration toensure the safety of life and property.

2. No person shall engage in the business of installing orservicing compressed natural gas motor fuel equipment orcomponents or compressed natural gas dispensing stations orcomponents without first having registered with the director ofthe department of agriculture.
