Appointments to boards, affirmative action required.

324.021. When making appointments to the boards governed by sections209.285 to 209.339, RSMo, sections 256.010 to 256.453, RSMo, this chapter,and chapters 326, 327, 328, 329, 330, 331, 332, 333, 334, 335, 336, 337,338, 339, 340, 345, and 346, RSMo, the governor shall take affirmativeaction to appoint women and members of minority groups. In addition, thegovernor shall not discriminate against or in favor of any person on thebasis of race, sex, religion, national origin, ethnic background, orlanguage.
