325.015. No person, partnership, association or corporationshall, directly or indirectly, act as a public adjuster or publicadjuster solicitor within this state, or receive for or becauseof services rendered in the adjustment of any claim or claims forloss or damage by fire or other casualty within the provisions offire or allied insurance policies any money or commission orother thing of value, without first securing a license to act asa public adjuster or public adjuster solicitor from the directoras hereinafter prescribed. No such license shall permit theholder thereof to engage in the practice of law or to conduct lawbusiness as defined in section 484.010, RSMo.
