Rulemaking authority--office maintained in Jefferson City.

326.262. 1. The Missouri state board of accountancy shall have powerby rule to adopt and use a seal; make and amend all rules deemed necessaryfor the proper administration of this chapter; conduct examinations;administer oaths and hear testimony regarding complaints, investigationsand disciplinary actions or in pursuing settlement as provided by section621.110, RSMo, or preparatory to the filing of a complaint pursuant tosection 621.045, RSMo; require by summons or subpoena the attendance andtestimony of witnesses, and the production of books, papers and documentswith respect to testimony regarding complaints, investigations anddisciplinary actions or in pursuing settlement; and do and perform allother acts and things committed to its charge and administration, orincidental thereto.

2. The board shall maintain its office in Jefferson City, Missouri.
