327.442. 1. At such time as the final trial proceedings areconcluded whereby a licensee, or any person who has failed to renew or hassurrendered his or her certificate of licensure or authority, has beenadjudicated and found guilty, or has entered a plea of guilty or nolocontendere, in a felony prosecution pursuant to the laws of this state, thelaws of any other state, territory, or the laws of the United States ofAmerica for any offense reasonably related to the qualifications,functions, or duties of a licensee pursuant to this chapter or any felonyoffense, an essential element of which is fraud, dishonesty, or an act ofviolence, or for any felony offense involving moral turpitude, whether ornot sentence is imposed, the board for architects, professional engineers,professional land surveyors and landscape architects may hold adisciplinary hearing to singly or in combination censure or place thelicensee named in the complaint on probation on such terms and conditionsas the board deems appropriate for a period not to exceed five years, ormay suspend, for a period not to exceed three years, or revoke the licenseor certificate.
2. Anyone who has been revoked or denied a license or certificate topractice in another state may automatically be denied a license orcertificate to practice in this state. However, the board for architects,professional engineers, professional land surveyors and landscapearchitects may establish other qualifications by which a person mayultimately be qualified and licensed to practice in Missouri.
