Issuance of license--qualifications--examination--fees--reciprocitywith other states.

330.030. Any person desiring to practice podiatric medicine in thisstate shall furnish the board with satisfactory proof, including astatement under oath or affirmation that all representations are true andcorrect to the best knowledge and belief of the person submitting andsigning same, subject to the penalties of making a false affidavit ordeclaration, that he or she is twenty-one years of age or over, and of goodmoral character, and that he or she has received at least four years ofhigh school training, or the equivalent thereof, and has received a diplomaor certificate of graduation from an approved college of podiatricmedicine, recognized and approved by the board, having a minimumrequirement of two years in an accredited college and four years in arecognized college of podiatric medicine. Upon payment of the examinationfee, and making satisfactory proof as aforesaid, the applicant shall beexamined by the board, or a committee thereof, under such rules andregulations as said board may determine, and if found qualified, shall belicensed, upon payment of the license fee, to practice podiatric medicineas licensed; provided, that the board shall, under regulations establishedby the board, admit without examination legally qualified practitioners ofpodiatric medicine who hold licenses to practice podiatric medicine in anystate or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia or anyforeign country with equal educational requirements to the state ofMissouri upon the applicant paying a fee equivalent to the license andexamination fees required above.
