Applicability of chapter.

334.155. 1. The provisions of this chapter shall apply toany licensee of this chapter performing tasks which education orlicensure qualify him to perform, in any setting.

2. This chapter does not apply to dentists licensed andlawfully practicing their profession within the provisions ofchapter 332, RSMo; to nurses licensed and lawfully practicingtheir profession within the provisions of chapter 335, RSMo; tooptometrists licensed and lawfully practicing their professionwithin the provisions of chapter 336, RSMo; to pharmacistslicensed and lawfully practicing their profession within theprovisions of chapter 338, RSMo; to podiatrists licensed andlawfully practicing their profession within the provisions ofchapter 330, RSMo; or to chiropractors licensed and lawfullypracticing their profession within the provisions of chapter331, RSMo.

3. The provisions of this chapter shall not prevent alicensed physician from referring a patient to or delegatingresponsibilities to the professions exempted by subsection 2 ofthis section.
