Intoxicated person, motor vehicle accident, treatment for injuries,physician may report to law enforcement agencies, rule ofconfidentiality not to apply.

334.265. Notwithstanding any other provision of law or ruleof confidentiality to the contrary, any physician licensed underthis chapter who treats a person who appears intoxicated, forinjuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident, may immediatelyreport same to a highway patrol officer or local law enforcementagency.
