Rulemaking authority.

334.687. For purposes of this section, the licensing of physicaltherapists and physical therapist assistants shall take place withinprocesses established by the state board of registration for the healingarts through rules. The board of healing arts is authorized to adopt rulesestablishing licensing and renewal procedures, supervision of physicaltherapist assistants, and former licensees who wish to return to thepractice of physical therapy, fees, and addressing such other matters asare necessary to protect the public and discipline the profession.
