Choosing an appraiser or discriminating against one for membershipor lack of membership in appraisal organization prohibited.

339.539. No bank, savings and loan association, creditunion, mortgage banker or lending institution may exclude astate certified real estate appraiser or state licensed realestate appraiser from consideration for an appraisal assignmentor specialized appraisal services by virtue of membership orlack of membership of the state certified real estate appraiseror state licensed real estate appraiser in any particular realestate appraisal organization.
