Provisional licensure, requirements--term.

340.246. A provisional license may be issued to a qualified applicantfor licensure pending examination results and completion of the veterinarycandidacy program, or who has otherwise applied for licensure by gradetransfer, reciprocity, or examination, if the applicant meets all otherrequired qualifications for licensure in sections 340.200 to 340.330;provided that the applicant is working under the supervision of a licensedveterinarian in good standing. Such supervision shall be consistent withthe delegated animal health care task. A provisional license shall expireone year after the date of issuance. A provisional license shall not beissued to individuals applying for faculty licensure.
