Supervision of veterinarian required--level of supervision.

340.326. Any person registered as a veterinary technicianand while practicing as a veterinary technician in this statemust at all times be under the supervision of a licensedveterinarian or a veterinarian exempt from licensing undersections 340.200 to 340.330. The level of supervision shall beconsistent with the delegated animal health care task. The boardshall by rule establish, in general or specific terms as it deemsnecessary, the animal health care tasks that veterinarytechnicians may provide and the level of supervision that isrequired by the licensed veterinarian for any delegated healthcare task.
