License required--separate license for assisted living facilitiesadministrators, limitations of license.

344.020. No person shall act or serve in the capacity of a nursinghome administrator without first procuring a license from the Missouriboard of nursing home administrators as provided in sections 344.010 to344.108. The board may issue a separate license to administrators ofassisted living facilities, as defined in section 198.006, RSMo. Anyindividual who receives a license to operate an assisted living facility isnot thereby authorized to operate any intermediate care facility or skillednursing facility as those terms are defined in section 198.006, RSMo.
