Commission members, who may serve.

348.025. Notwithstanding the provisions of any other law tothe contrary:

(1) No officer or employee of this state shall be deemed tohave forfeited or shall forfeit his office or employment byreason of his acceptance of membership on the authority or hisservice thereto;

(2) It shall not constitute a conflict of interest for adirector, officer, or employee of any financial institution,investment banking firm, brokerage firm, commercial bank or trustcompany, architectural firm, insurance company, or any otherfirm, person, or corporation, to serve as a member of theauthority, provided such trustee, director, officer, or employeeshall abstain from deliberation, action, and vote by theauthority in each instance where the business affiliation orpublic office association of any such trustee, director, officer,or employee is involved.
