Department may contract with corporations.

348.262. In order to assist the corporation in achievingthe objectives identified in section 348.261, the department ofeconomic development may contract with the corporation foractivities consistent with the corporation's purpose, asspecified in section 348.256. When contracting with thecorporation under the provisions of this section, the departmentof economic development may directly enter into agreements withthe corporation and shall not be bound by the provisions ofchapter 34, RSMo.
