Benevolent corporations may be merged.

352.140. Any corporation or corporations heretofore orhereafter organized under the laws of this state relating to theincorporation of benevolent, religious, scientific,fraternal-benevolent, educational and miscellaneous associationsmay be merged in any other such corporation or may beconsolidated with any other such corporation or corporations toform a consolidated corporation under such laws, on compliancewith the provisions of sections 352.140 to 352.170.
