Investigation by director of investments--records to be kept bydivision--criminal action, when.

354.325. 1. The director of the department of insurance, financialinstitutions and professional registration shall, as often as he may deemproper, make careful inquiry and investigation as to the manner in which themoney, funds or securities of corporations subject to the provisions ofsections 354.010 to 354.380, doing business in this state, are invested oremployed, and record the result of such inquiry or investigation in recordskept in his office for the inspection of members and public officials.

2. In the event of a violation of this section or of section 354.320,the prosecuting attorney of the proper county, or in the city of St. Louis,the circuit attorney, shall proceed at once by information or indictmentagainst the offenders.
