Grievance procedures, rulemaking authority.

354.562. The director of the department of insurance, financialinstitutions and professional registration shall promulgate rules governinggrievance procedures for enrollees of a community-based health maintenanceorganization. Such regulations shall be consistent with and not less or morestringent than federal regulations governing grievance procedures promulgatedby the Health Care Financing Administration of the United States Department ofHealth and Human Services for Medicare enrollees in managed care plans.
