Providers of dental care, written contract with prepaid dental plancorporations, review and mediation procedures for enrollees required.

354.715. 1. Any provider of dental health care services whoagrees with a prepaid dental plan corporation to provide dentalcare services to its enrollees shall reduce such agreement to awritten contract with the prepaid dental plan corporation.

2. Each prepaid dental plan corporation shall establishprocedures for review and mediation of complaints of enrolleesconcerning the quality of care rendered by a participatingdentist. In lieu of establishing such procedures, thecorporation may agree in a written document submitted to thedirector to utilize the services of a peer review committee of astate, district, or local dental society which has beenestablished for purposes of providing the type of review andmediation required. Enrollees and participating dentists shallbe made aware of the review mechanism adopted by the prepaiddental plan corporation and shall be informed as to how to submita complaint for review.
