Issuance of registration--duties of secretary of state.

359.511. 1. If the secretary of state finds that anapplication for registration conforms to law and all requisitefees have been paid, he shall:

(1) Endorse on each copy of the application the word"Filed", and the month, day and year of the filing thereof;

(2) File in his office an original of the application; and

(3) Issue a certificate of registration to transactbusiness in this state.

2. The certificate of registration, together with aduplicate original or a copy of the original of the application,shall be returned to the person who filed the application or hisrepresentative.
