Division of finance created--location of office--transfer of division.

361.010. 1. There is hereby created a "State Division of Finance",which shall be under the management and control of a chief officer whoshall be called the "Director of Finance".

2. The director of finance shall maintain his office at the City ofJefferson, reside in the state of Missouri, and shall devote all of histime to the duties of his office. The division of design and constructionis hereby required to provide the director of finance and the statedivision of finance with suitable rooms.

3. The division of finance with all of its powers, duties, andfunctions is assigned by type III transfer under the authority of theOmnibus State Reorganization Act of 1974 and executive order 06-04 to thedepartment of insurance, financial institutions and professionalregistration. All of the general provisions, definitions, and powersenumerated in section 1 of the Omnibus State Reorganization Act of 1974 andexecutive order 06-04 shall apply to this department and its divisions,agencies, and personnel.

4. Wherever the laws, rules, or regulations of this state makereference to the "division of finance of the department of economicdevelopment" or to the "division of finance", such references shall bedeemed to refer to the division of finance of the department of insurance,financial institutions and professional registration.
