Contributions to charitable agencies.

362.530. Anything in any other law of this state to thecontrary notwithstanding, every bank and every trust companyorganized under the laws of this state shall have power to, andmay contribute to community funds, or to civic, charitable,philanthropic, or benevolent instrumentalities conducive topublic welfare, such sums as the board of directors of theparticular bank or trust company may deem expedient and in theinterest of the bank or trust company.
