Corporate existence of old merged into new company--title toproperty.

362.770. The corporate existence of the merging corporationor corporations shall be merged into that of receiving bank ortrust company, or in the event of consolidation the corporateexistence of the consolidating companies shall be merged intothat of the consolidated bank or trust company; and all andsingular the rights, privileges and franchises, and the rights,title and interest in and to all property of whatsoever kind,whether real, personal or mixed, and things in action, and everyright, privilege, interest or asset of conceivable value orbenefit then existing to which any of the corporations so mergingor consolidating shall be entitled at law or in equity shall befully and finally and without any right of reversion transferredto and vested in the receiving bank or trust company in case ofmerger or in the consolidated bank or trust company in case of aconsolidation, without further act or deed, and the receivingcorporation or the consolidated corporation shall have and holdthe same in its own corporate right as fully as the same waspossessed and held by either of the merging or consolidatingcorporations from which the rights were, by operation of theprovisions of sections 362.610 to 362.810, transferred.
