Health insurance advisory committee established, members, duties.

374.284. The department of insurance, financial institutions andprofessional registration shall create an advisory committee to be known asthe "Health Insurance Advisory Committee". This committee shall be avoluntary committee comprised of representatives of the insurance industry,provider groups and the public. The committee shall consist of at least, butnot limited to, one member representing each of the following areas: smallgroup insurance, managed care, doctors of medicine, doctors of osteopathy,pharmacists, dentists and public members representing self-employed workersand the elderly. This committee shall meet to discuss and advise thedepartment on issues relating to health care insurance.
