Immunity from liability granted, when, to whom.

375.006. There shall be no liability on the part of, and no cause ofaction of any nature shall arise against, the director of the department ofinsurance, financial institutions and professional registration or against anyinsurer, its authorized representative, its agents, its employees, or anyfirm, person or corporation furnishing to the insurer information as toreasons for cancellation or nonrenewal, for any statement made by any of themin any written notice of cancellation or nonrenewal, or in any othercommunication, oral or written, specifying the reasons for cancellation ornonrenewal, or the providing of information pertaining thereto, or forstatements made or evidence submitted at any hearings conducted in connectiontherewith.
