Who deemed agent of unauthorized company.

375.046. Any person or persons in this state who shall receipt forany money on account of or for any contract of insurance made by suchperson or persons for any insurance company or association not at the timeauthorized to do business in this state, or who shall receive or receiptfor any money from other persons, to be transmitted to any such insurancecompany or association, either in or out of this state, for a policy orpolicies of insurance issued by the company or association, or for anyrenewal thereof, although the same may not be required by such person orpersons as insurance producers, or who shall make or cause to be made,directly or indirectly, any contract of insurance for the company orassociation, shall be deemed to all intents and purposes a producer of thecompany or association, and shall be subject to all the provisions andregulations and liable to all the penalties provided and fixed by sections375.010 to 375.920.
