Centralized producer license registry, participation in.

375.071. 1. The director may participate in a centralized producerlicense registry, in whole or in part, with any entity the director deemsappropriate, including but not limited to the National Association ofInsurance Commissioners, or any affiliates or subsidiaries suchorganization oversees, in which insurance producer licenses may becentrally or simultaneously effected for all states that require aninsurance producer license and that participate in the centralized producerlicense registry.

2. If the director finds that participation in the centralizedproducer license registry is in the public interest, the director may adoptby rule any uniform standards and procedures consistent with this chapteras are necessary to participate in the registry, including the centralcollection of all fees for licenses that are processed through theregistry.
