Powers of director.

375.1100. The director may make use of any of the powersestablished under chapters 374 to 385, RSMo, to enforce the lawsof this state not specifically preempted by the Risk RetentionAct of 1986, including the director's administrative authority toinvestigate, issue subpoena, conduct depositions and hearings,issue orders, impose penalties and seek injunctive relief. Withregard to any investigation, administrative proceedings orlitigation, the director can rely on the procedural laws of thisstate. The injunctive authority of the director, in regard torisk retention groups, is restricted by the requirement that anyinjunction be issued by a court of competent jurisdiction.
