Restatement of charter, articles of incorporation or association,or declaration of organization, how made.

375.226. 1. Any insurance company organized or incorporatedunder the laws of this state may restate its charter, articles ofincorporation or association, or declaration of organizing fromtime to time as may be desired in the same manner as provided insections 375.201 through 375.221 pertaining to amendments.

2. In lieu of the certificate of amendment as set forth insection 375.206, the director and secretary of state shall issuea certificate of restated articles.

3. Upon the issuance of the certificate of restated articlesby the secretary of state, the restated articles shall becomeeffective and shall supersede the original articles and allamendments thereto.
