Service on deputy director valid, when.

375.911. In case of a vacancy in the office of the director of thedepartment of insurance, financial institutions and professional registrationor in case of the absence or inability or suspension of the director, theservice upon the deputy appointed under the provisions of section 374.080,RSMo, shall be valid and sufficient for the purpose of section 375.906;provided, further, that in the absence or inability of both the director anddeputy or in case of a vacancy in both of the offices, service upon the chiefclerk, appointed under the provisions of section 374.130, RSMo, shall be validand sufficient for the purpose of section 375.906.
