Involuntary unemployment insurance may be issued in connection withextension of credit, requirements.

376.015. Corporations doing the business specified insection 376.010 may also make insurance to provide a periodicindemnity for involuntary unemployment when such insurance issold in connection with an extension of credit. Any companymaking such insurance shall comply with the provisions of section379.400, RSMo, and the regulations promulgated pursuant thereto,and shall have, in addition to any other capital requirements forsuch company, a fully paid capital and surplus equal to theamount required in section 379.010, RSMo. Involuntaryunemployment insurance may be written on either an individual ora group basis, but in no event may group involuntary insurancecoverage be offered to residents of a state other than Missouriunless the regulatory official governing insurance in such statehas granted prior approval.
