Utilization review organization monitored, when.

376.1356. Whenever a health carrier contracts to have a utilizationreview organization or other entity perform the utilization reviewfunctions required by sections 376.1350 to 376.1390 or applicable rules andregulations, the health carrier shall be responsible for monitoring theactivities of the utilization review organization or entity with which thehealth carrier contracts and for ensuring that the requirements of sections376.1350 to 376.1390 and applicable rules and regulations are met.
