Foreign executor or administrator.

376.570. Whenever any nonresident of this state dies leavinga policy of life insurance issued by any life insurance companyof this state and payable to his estate, it shall be lawful forthe executor or administrator, duly appointed under the laws ofthe state of the residence of such deceased nonresident, tocollect and receive the proceeds payable under the terms of suchpolicy and the delivery or payment of such proceeds by any lifeinsurance company of this state to such nonresident executor oradministrator, at any time, shall operate as a full and completerelease and discharge of any person or corporation so paying ordelivering such proceeds to such foreign executor oradministrator.
